Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: 25 June 2026

This page is a plain-language summary to help you understand how cancellations and refunds usually work on Servicito. It is not a contract and does not create new rights or guarantees. Our Terms of Service govern in the event of any conflict.

A quick note while we're growing

Servicito is a young platform. As we grow, we may update our processes, how we review requests, and this policy itself to make things clearer and fairer. When something changes here, this page will reflect the current approach.

Cancelling before the service

If you cancel a request before a provider has accepted it or started work, there is no charge. You can do this from your bookings.

To keep things fair for providers, repeated or excessive cancellations may be subject to fair-use limits. If you reach a limit and still need to cancel, just contact us and we'll help.

Refunds before the service is completed

If you've already paid but the service hasn't been completed yet, you can request a refund. Where eligible, the amount you paid may be returned to your original payment method, at our discretion.

After the service is completed

Once a service has been completed, there is no automatic refund. If something wasn't right, you can raise a concern and ask us to take a look.

We review these situations case by case and at our discretion, consistent with our Terms of Service. We can't promise a particular outcome, amount, or timeline, but we'll consider what each side tells us and try to be fair.

If a provider doesn't show up or finish the job

If a provider doesn't show up, or doesn't complete the work you paid for, you can let us know. After a short waiting period that gives the provider a fair chance to finish, you can escalate the booking for us to review.

While we review an escalated booking, we'll consider what both sides tell us before deciding what action, if any, is appropriate. As above, any outcome is decided case by case at our discretion.

How refunds reach you

When a refund is approved, it is generally processed back to the original payment method you used. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take some time to appear on your statement.

We may ask for more information

Before deciding on a cancellation, refund, or dispute, we may ask you (or the provider) for more details — such as photos, documentation, messages, or other evidence about what happened. This helps us understand the situation and make a fair decision.

Talk to us before going to your bank

If something goes wrong with a payment, please reach out to us first at contact.servicito@gmail.com. We can usually sort things out faster and more directly than a formal claim with your bank or card provider, which is handled through a separate process outside Servicito.
